US House and Senate
Alaska has two US Senate members and one US House member. Senator Lisa Murkowski and Senator Dan Sullivan have been in office since 2015 and 2017, respectively. Congresswoman Mary Peltola, has been in office since 2022.

Elections for the Alaska House and Senate are held every two years, in even-numbered years. The Alaska House of Representatives has 40 members, who are elected every 2 years, and the Alaska Senate has 20 members, who are elected every 4 years. Voters in Alaska have the opportunity to elect representatives who will represent their values and interests in the legislature. Elections for the Alaska House and Senate are held on the first Tuesday of November. It is important for Alaskans to make their voices heard and cast their ballots in these elections.
